Our long wait in Turkey is finally over

I wrote about Expectations and how my expectation was that we will be out of Macedonia for only 2 weeks….. well in the end it took us two and a half months to come back to Skopje.

So what happened in Turkey…..

I continued to homeschool the children, I was only expecting to be gone for 2 weeks and that is how much homeschooling preperation I took with me.  But in the end I had to improvise and thank goodness for the internet.  To see what we did in our homeschooling you can go to my homeschool blog.

Other than homeschool we waited ….. well luckily not everyday, some days we had fun.

living out of suitcases – this was the best present ever- there can be some order in the chaos.

Danie had to come to Macedonia for just over 3 weeks, so he missed my birthday.  It was difficult being without him for that time, but through grace we have survived it, and not only survive but also learn some things about ourselves.

So now our long wait and visa process for our first year is done.  We are now awaiting our residence permit cards and then we are finally officially in Macedonia.
