At the beginning of August I got the school ready for  our new year of school.

Friends of our had to leave the country and we babysat their dog for a couple of weeks.

We finally got to go and get our permits for Macedonia, 5 months after they have expired!

Neo-Rie finally finshesd her mosaic - a year after starting it!

This year was the first of many things - Neo-Rie is going to school for the first time.  It was a really hard decision to make, but once we had peace about it, we went for it. May this year teach you how to fly!

Zane started his second year of High School at QSI - very confident this year and happy that is not online (for day one)

We walked the streets of Skopje, in search of ice cream and came upon a light festival.

Now I only homeschool 2 kids, sad but true.... but it is a real big challenge for me and I hope I can do this.

Some of our first experiments for this year.

We celebrated the day of Mary with Beti

So many people left the country when the borders opened.  We lost a lot of good friends this year.  One of them left us these lights!

We wanted to explore Macedonia, but money is always tight. Zane was playing is first rugby game in Probistip so we decided to make a road trip out of it. This is the stone dolls close to Kratovo. We explored the "petrified wedding party" many legends surrounding the place of how a girl that was jealous put a spell on all and made them into stone.
