So My life during Corona
Not sure why I am blogging... nobody reads it, and when I die no one will even know it exists ha ha... So why indeed.... I am hoping my kids might read it one day... I should leave instructions in my will, but even my will is outdated..... if I die now my kids won't even inherit anything.
I am more of a photo blogger I think. I want to write but always to tired to think...
So let's start with February this year..
It didn't snow much this winter, and then suddenly it did a bit.
I was teaching art in Shutka for a while. It was really difficult for me. the kids are different and don't understand what I am trying to show them.
And just like that it was Winter again... Snow on the blossoms.
I wanted to start excising and walked the dog...... once..... ha ha. I love these flowers.... there will be more photos coming.
Jac was online Zooming cooking for Scouts
Poppies and poppies and poppies...
The course Danie and I did... I lamented the notes to help me....
More pictures of Shutka and Chereni's friends from Pre-school
We had a nice picnic in the park with the Dyers....
And then it was time to say Good bye at the border!
Now it it Jac's Social distancing party. We made slots for the families to attend at Matka. Theme was Apollo 11 and Astronaut training.

So let's start with February this year..
It didn't snow much this winter, and then suddenly it did a bit.
Then Spring came and we planted some flowers!
It was then that Lock down came with the Corona virus and Danie decided to restore this old cabinet
We had a Covid 19 drive thru Birthday party!
And just like that it was Winter again... Snow on the blossoms.
And we all had to have masks.... The beginning....
We started helping to pack food parcels for families that could not work anymore in Shutka
Then Easter came and we had a Christian Sedar- It was really something I enjoyed doing with the kids. Having everyone home not able to do anything else, this was a special time.
For Jac the Lock down was really difficult, so he went to the park with a friend and social distance over there for a while.
Zooms became the new norm
Then Tannie Erra died.....
and her funeral was via Zoom
We also lost our friends... crossing the border on foot to get to Serbia for a flight to the Netherlands, but we had some great times before they left. These pictures are out of order, but I have no energy to move them.
Jac had a birthday... or 3.... with this virus thing who cares how many times you have it.
Danie and I did some courses during this Pandemic......
And a little bit of art, was hoping for more...
Shutka, deliveries of food.
My birthday actually came before Jac's birthday on the 5th of May
Before Corne and Arnaud left for the Netherlands, Filip came to play
Jac was online Zooming cooking for Scouts
We went to Matka with the dog.... it was fun
Jac completed his Arrow of Light Cub Scouts and moved onto Scouting
Poppies and poppies and poppies...
Chereni actually draw something that looks like something. This is the sun
Helping out at the Food bank
The course Danie and I did... I lamented the notes to help me....
More pictures of Shutka and Chereni's friends from Pre-school
We had a nice picnic in the park with the Dyers....

Our last meal with the Kramer family
Yes now it is Jac's Birthday... ha ha 15 June. We went to the Zoo with Corne and the kids
And then it was time to say Good bye at the border!
Apollo took a nibble of Jac's finger
Now it it Jac's Social distancing party. We made slots for the families to attend at Matka. Theme was Apollo 11 and Astronaut training.
There was some Rocket fuel, some Liquid Hydrogen and Space food that was Orbit gum, a Mars bar, Milky Way bar, a banana wrapped in foil and Sirius chocolate
We had a space station
even a weightless zone
They got some Space food
And just like that Chereni turned 5 -You guessed it ... it was a Frozen theme.
Then we had a heatwave and had to swim....
