What is wrong with World?                                                                 16 Aug 2014

There is so much pain

There is so much heartache

People slaughtering one another….

People dying at the hands of police…..

People killing themselves…..

People chased by demons…..

 

Why so much evil?

Where is the love?

Where is the peace?images

Where is the dignity?

Where is it……?

 

The children…. o’ Lord, the children?

I can see them in front of me….. Slaughtered

I know I shouldn’t have looked at all the images

I can’t get them out of my head now.

Brutal, evil…. O so evil.

 

People  are saying:

“O that’s bad… shame the poor people”

And carry on with their lives, holidays…. Facebook.

I have trouble doing that; my mind goes back… back to those images

They are stuck in my head

 

O Lord, help them. I don’t know how but just help them.

All of them that are in need, those in Iraq, those who feel rejected

Those tormented by demons..

Those tormented by police.

Reach down and touch them,

Hold them tight and show them the love.

I don’t know anymore

Where is that love, why is hate ruling right now!

What is wrong with the world?

A new day has dawned but still there is the hate,

There is racism, terrorism, bombs, knives, burning, killing – WAR

Why are people like this? Not caring for homeless people….

Just money making…

 

Where is the hope?

I am feeling down,

What is wrong with the world?

What is wrong with the people?

Why so much evil and hate?

Why does no-one care about another?

 

Do you know there is a long list of phobias!

Fear…..o so many fears.

Living in fear, discrimination, where is the love?

Just show me the love…..

 

I am angry ……

I am sad…

Is Corono over yet?--------------------Nope!

 Well, it is nearly Christmas and Corono is stronger than ever.... we also had an earthquake today. I felt it while sleeping and thought I was dreaming. So weird! So what happend in the last 5 months.... not much... ha ha. Here is more pictures to remember the last 5 months. We went for a bike ride next to the Vardar river We made a lemon clock Jac got a weather station Lots of watermelons in the summer-------watermelon juice Zane turned 16!  Happy Sweet 16    I started making visual schedules for Chereni and Jac. At the beginning of August I got the school ready for  our new year of school.  Friends of our had to leave the country and we babysat their dog for a couple of weeks. We finally got to go and get our permits for Macedonia, 5 months after they have expired!  Neo-Rie finally finshesd her mosaic - a year after starting it! Entering our third week in Ankara–in waiting…

  So we are entering our third week in Ankara – waiting on our visas.  We have used the time to catch up on some admin tasks, visiting friends, homechooling and enjoying the warmer weather. We are homeschooling the kids on Turkey history and the ancient cities etc.  We decided to have one ‘field trip” while in waiting and went to Cappadocia. (Kapadokia). Ons het een aand gaan oorslaap in ‘n grot hotel in Göreme.  We had some trouble with the GPS, although it spoke English all the other info was in Turkish.  So after period of trial and error we wound the town.  We also met up with other people from South Africa which was really nice. It was like entering a surreal place when you look over the Cappadocia valley. Fairy chimneys and the rock formations was just amazing.  The kids were entering one cave after another – eager to explore. Visiting the historical sites in Ankara.

  Part of our homeschooling this month is learning about Turkey and also the history of Turkey.  Here are some photos of where we travelled today.
