The cold mountains of Maclear
We had a wonderful two weeks with Danie’s parents in Maclear. The children enjoyed their first glimpse of snow, went fishing, riding on the pony and just do some fun stuff on the farm.
Zane also attended school for a whole week! He loved it.
I was hoping to sort out all the files etc on my computer but did not manage to do all that.
We visited a number of people in the area and sharing what God is doing in our lives right now and how they can become part of the journey. It is tiring but also enjoyable.
We changed our plans a bit, since my mother broke her ankle we decided to go and help them move into their new home just outside of Stellenbosch. So from here we will be going to Patensie and Port Elizabeth again for a few days, visiting family and churches. Then we will stay in the Strand for 5 days and then off to Cape Town to meet with SIM (Serving in Mission). GEM (Greater Europe Missions) and SIM signed a working agreement and we need to meet with them to hopefully get all the last things sorted out.
We will also visit some churches while in Cape Town.
We also hope to visit some of the schools that are attended by autistic children to see how they operate and what we can learn.
Now I need some hot coffee![]()
