Our Life

We had a wonderful two weeks with Danie’s parents in Maclear. The children enjoyed their first glimpse of snow, went fishing, riding on the pony and just do some fun stuff on the farm.   Zane also attended school for a whole week! He loved it. I was hoping to sort out all the files etc on my computer but did not manage to do all that.   We visited a number of people in the area and sharing what God is doing in our lives right now and how they can become part of the journey.  It is tiring but also enjoyable. We changed our plans a bit, since my mother broke her ankle we decided to go and help them move into their new home just outside of Stellenbosch. So from here we will be going to Patensie and Port Elizabeth again for a few days, visiting family and churches. Then we will stay in the Strand for 5 days and then off to Cape Town to meet with SIM (Serving in Mission).  GEM (Greater Europe Missions) and SIM signed a working agreement and we need to meet with them...

Our time in White River is coming to an end. I can’t believe our time is over here. We will miss the friends we have made here, but at least there is always Facebook and BBM! We have spend the last month here in White River at Phumelela Bible College. We really had a wonderful time, just reconnecting with friends, meeting new people and taking them on the journey with us. There are so many things we still wanted to do here but time is always so short. We hope to make a last trip through the Kruger National Park, and also to go to Hazyview so see the “Big Birds” We will also not have internet for about 3 weeks!!!!!!!! I don’t know if I will be able to survive that!
