Our Life

As this year is literally on its end I am thinking.... why am I so tired.  The same happend last year.... aren't you suppose to enter the new year with joy and laughter and looking forward to all the new things that will happen.  I stopped making new year resolutions a couple of years ago.  For the past 3 new years  living in a foreign country... I don't know there is just no real rest. I crave rest in some sort of way but not sure how to get it. We adopted a little girl about 2 weeks ago and although we know she is a blessing to our family, there is still a lot of work to be done with her, to teach her to eat properly and to stand and walk and finding a way to fit her into our homeschool.... I am tired and don't know how to do this all. This sums up what is going on in my head all the time....... no wonder I am tired...

We visited the Zoo!! Had some fun in the Aqua park for Danie's birthday Enjoyed more birthdays.... and then the flood hit There was a flood not 5km from our home and people were killed and lots of damage done Danie is still busy to help clean places and helping families restore some homes for the winter that is around the corner. It was like a flash flood that swept through a part of the city and filling houses with water within seconds. Danie was working for about 3 weeks non-stop to help clear the water, mud and broken furniture from homes

Yes he is 12 years old now.  Cant believe how the time has flown.  We had a early Birthday celebration since all of his friends are out of town today. The were supposed to camp out in the backyard but a massive storm changed the plans and flooded the tent. Making their own fire His real birthday today! Zane played baseball this year and enjoyed it very much.  He is playing for the International School Team. Zane and Zak really became close this year but unfortunately Zak left for America for a year so we will hopefully see them before the next school year start in September 2017 a Last game of cards with Zak Zak and Zane

We are in the middle of summer here with hot temperatures, cool showers and visiting friends.  Here is an update on our year so far. We visited Ohrid with friends Lake Ohrid Kids having fun Our cat hat kittens! We took a trip to the Zoo with friends leaving Macedonia Looking for the sealions? It turned out to be World Autism day at the Zoo and we stayed on and visited with the Dark Wolfes The music got so loud we had to go away and get some ice cream.  For Wold Autism day they did not think of this, all the kids where covering their ears. The kids joined the Scouts this year.  Jac was a Tiger Cub, Neo-Rie a Brownie and Zane part of the Boy Scouts.  They loved it.  They earned badges and went camping and had fun with their friends.
